EARLY INTERVENTION

ACCESS Youth Mentoring Programs are designed to empower at-risk youth to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize their personal potential. Through collaborative programming with schools and other community-based organizations, ACCESS Youth and its partners provide: educational, social, and mentoring opportunities to enhance the academic performance, community networking, and career prospects of each juvenile.

Our unique approach includes:

• Assessment of each juvenile
• Structured group activities for the mentoring participants and their mentors
• Assignment of juveniles to tracks based on their interests and needs. Tracks include:
  - Athletics
  - Music and the Arts
  - Creative writing
  - Technology and Digital Storytelling
  - Entrepreneurship and student-run business development
• Involvement of parents and families of mentoring participants in various aspects of the program
