Board Secretary Christine Hill is of counsel to the National Veterans Legal Services Program, an independent nonprofit organization working to ensure that the government delivers to veterans the health care and benefits to which they are entitled. She represents veterans and dependents before the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and federal courts, and supervises NVLSP litigation staff. She devotes much of her time to mentoring attorneys participating in NVLSP’s Lawyers Serving Warriors™ Program (assisting current service members and veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom) including its Posttraumatic Stress Disorder/Military Sexual Trauma pilot program, and mentoring and training attorneys across the country. She has also been called to testify before the U.S. House and Senate Committees on Veterans’ Affairs on veterans’ issues. Ms. Hill joined NVLSP in July 2005. Committed to community service, she is proud to serve as an active member of a number of boards, including Access Youth.
