Truancy  Prevention Program Manager

profile-picTruancy Program Manager Thomasina Millner provides support, mediation and intervention plans to students at Ballou High School, focusing on decreasing truancy and increasing student’s attendance. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Trinity Washington University with a degree in Human Relations. She will be returning to school to obtain her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Spring 2016. Ms. Millner has previously served both District of Columbia Public Schools and charter schools as a Para-Professional, Behavior Intervention Specialist and Program Coordinator. She has experience establishing programs, interrelating with parents, and producing successful interventions for children in urban school settings. Ms. Millner is committed to provide individualized interventions according to the needs of each child within her program.
